As I was thinking about what to write for this post – I realized that I couldn’t say it better than our friends – the founders of this organization. Here’s what they wrote and some of my favorite shots from the shoot we did for them. Check out their website: Always In My Heart. All of the videos on their website was created by my extremely talented and amazing friend and owner of Talewind Visuals. Check out their work – you won’t be disappointed.
From Cole and Daisha (Founders) – “Cole and I have a home filled with 7 (soon to be 8) amazing children, but you may not know that we also have 5 beautiful babies in heaven. These precious children were (and are) so loved by us, but over the years our hearts were broken 5 different times with the news of a complication during a pregnancy or no heartbeat at an appointment. It’s a heartbreaking journey to have a miscarriage or stillbirth and lose your baby.
Did you know that one in four women has a miscarriage? The journey of loss is more common than most even realize, but the road of loss and healing is lonely and dark at times, especially if these grieving men and women don’t have the love and support they need. We believe this is a journey that no one should have to navigate alone.
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month and I am humbled to share with you the charity I have recently started called, Always in My Heart, which brings light to the true heartache of those who have lost a baby during pregnancy and gives them hope and peace along the way. It will be a place where we love, support, connect and comfort those who have endured such a loss, while always remembering their sweet babies who are gone too soon.
Whether you have experienced a loss of your own or desire to understand this type of loss better we invite you to join us at www.alwaysinmyheart.com
