With a 3 day notice to make sure they have everything they need - this is offered until the beautiful local strawberries are no longer available. Hot, baked to order shortcakes, a bowl of whole, hulled local strawberries, Mexican cane sugar, strawberry ice cream, wild strawberry sorbet, strawberry whipped cream, lightly sweetened Ochoa creme.
The dessert is named after Mark Twain because of a letter he wrote to his cook requesting "Strawberries, which are not to be doled out as if they were jewelry, but in a more liberal way".
